Dear Community Supporter:
The mission of The Philadelphia Police Dept Community Relations Unit (CRU) is
"To build a "Bridge" between the Philadelphia Police Dept and the community by
Providing a variety of prevention programs and outreach activities that foster better
Relationships with the schools, businesses, parents and youths of the City as we work
Towards a drug and violence free Philadelphia."

Due to Federal and State Funding being cut the Community Relations Unit is asking for
Any assistance to help us continue our youth anti-violence and anti-drug programs.
.
We are having a fundraiser on October 29 and we would appreciate if you would
Donate any item(s); to be raffled to benefit the cause. All proceeds will be used directly for
The CRU Programs.
Our D.A.R.E. and G.RE.A.T. Programs annually serve approximately 10,000 students
During the school, semesters and our eight (8) week summer program. Your assistance
Would help us in acquiring curriculum workbooks, graduuation certificates, and classroom
Incentives for all our students.
